This specialty coffee from Finca Hortigal in Boquete, Panama is 100% Typica – one of the oldest and most prestigious Arabica varieties. The farm, led by women since 1920, is located at 1,400–1,600 m above sea level and leverages precision fertilization techniques to reduce waste while maximizing yield.
After harvest, the beans are processed at a nearby mill – washed, sun-dried, and finished in mechanical dryers to ensure consistent quality according to the strict standards set by Doña Eira Maria.
The beans are matured in a custom-designed Ternium storage space to enhance character. The volcanic soil and microclimate give this coffee its distinctive profile: bright citrus acidity, juicy mouthfeel, and pronounced notes of stone fruits like peach and plum.
